Hello Steve

Thank you for reaching out to united states of america. I'm so sorry you are facing issues!
My proper name is Margarida, I'1000 an Independent Advisor.

That is a server sent bulletin, so well-nigh likely the issue is with your email server provider and non with outlook.

I accept done some research and it seems that is a recurring issue with Optus email account. Is that your case? If and so, I would recommend to achieve out to their support.

Hi Margarida,

Thanks for your response - I appreciate the time you have taken to wait into this issue.

I had read those links prior to posting my question nonetheless they practise not resolve the issue.  I besides contacted Optus support who brash it is non a server consequence as information technology doesn't happen when using webmail or phone... only when using Outlook.  The bulletin also just appears in Outlook - if it was sent by the server I would too see it on telephone/webmail.

Promise that additional information helps to narrow down the issue.

All-time regards,

Steve

Its not an OL generated msg per se, the msg is a response to the server (receiver) rejecting the postal service. Its an anti spam procedure from that server

Dissimilar things are in play in OL compared to spider web mail service and telephone

PS

Optus support would be aware of the to a higher place, simply are choosing to ignore information technology - its their anti-spam measures causeing the problem

Palcouk,

Thank you for that data.  What would Outlook be doing differently to the telephone (I don't have problems with it)?  If I can narrow it down more peradventure Optus support will exist more useful.

Many thanks,

Steve

Howdy Steve,

I have optus at home.

Im using role 365 outlook

No issues at home over wifi.

Too using email on my phone, no problems

Its only when I hot spot from my phone ( Aldi ) to outlook on lap top I have the event.

So I don't recall its optus, I did a chat with them and got nowhere.

I did try in email settings SMTP to tick box outgoing uses same log in every bit incoming server.

This helped for a while but information technology is dorsum.

Hope this helps

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your answer.  I was already using the same log in for the outgoing server merely as you've institute that isn't the full solution.  It turns out that in reality that message should never exist seen by an end user and as that is odd in itself (too an internet search for that error only returns queries from Optus customers).  I accept had detailed discussions with senior Optus staff who have accepted that it is an Optus outcome... but no 1 has still been able to work out the cause of the issue.

My solution in the terminate was to stop using the Optus server to transport emails.  I have reconfigured Outlook to ship using the gmail server by logging in with my gmail account (as opposed to the incoming server login).  Gmail volition allow this as long equally yous make the option possible within your google account - it is a procedure simply worth doing).

During my inquiry I plant that the Optus email system does come up with errors more than often than any other postal service servers and the long term solution will be to finish using my optus e-mail... which is frustrating as I accept had information technology for 15 years.  In the meantime my work around have been faultless and I will continue to use it.

Hope that also helps yous and anyone else who encounters this issue.

Best regards,

Steve
