This was a prissy base recipe. I did make some changes, co-ordinate to what I had on paw. I used pork, so I used a teaspoon of craven bouillon granules instead of a cube of beefiness bouillon. As well to save myself a pot to make clean, I cooked the meat start, in the sauce, with the oil and water chestnuts with liquid, added. Added the stir fry veggies once the meat was generally cooked through, and cooked until heated through. I idea it could use some extra flavor and then I added curry powder, ginger, cinnamon, and garlic pulverisation, to taste, and a teeny amount of crushed ruddy pepper. Served over tuckered ramen noodles that were flavored with a packet of chicken seasoning. Garnished with a sprinkling of sesame seeds. This made a slap-up, cheap meal. Side by side time I'll be sure and add a can of mushrooms, and it would gustation good with sesame oil, if you have any. I was out and used canola. Tried this recipe this weekend and it turned out well. The only advice I accept is to check to see if your vegetable medley has water chestnuts in information technology. The ane I bought already had information technology and so additional water chestnuts were unnecessary. I also served it over white rice. Other than that, it was amazing!

My husband, father-in-police force, and I honey this recipe! To save time on the meat, I buy "stew meat" and then that information technology'south already chopped up, and half those pieces to make them a tiny bit smaller. My family also prefers peppers over other veggies in a stir fry, so I purchase one fresh light-green bell pepper, one fresh red bell pepper, one fresh yellow bell pepper, one fresh orange bell pepper, and i onion, all sliced. Those all together business relationship for about three servings, so I freeze the other two for afterwards. I cook the veggies in olive oil the aforementioned, but add together the meat that'south been sitting in sauce correct in-- no wasted pans and it turns out great each time. I change I made to the sauce was to milkshake a generous amount of crushed red pepper into it. It gives information technology a tiny boot. Overall, I'm glad I found this recipe and will go on to arrive!

I doubled the burgoo cubes and the meat. I did melt the meat beginning and added frozen veggies. There were no leftovers. Information technology was great!! I'll definitely use this recipe again.

I omitted the sugar and added greenish and yellow peppers and onion. I too replaced the beefiness bouillon with chicken bouillon. Turned out great!

Family like this....used a very lean and thin cut of steak chosen flake steak (normally used for cheese steaks) and 2 bags of frozen stir-fry veggies. I did omit the h2o chestnuts every bit my family doesnt treat them. Easy and tasty. I also added some sesame oil to the stir-fry cooking process for more flavor. Thanks

Actually expert! I cheated and bought pre chopped fresh peppers-all colors, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, asparagus and a can of water chestnuts. I also added garlic powder since I didn't accept fresh garlic. I added a beef bouillon cube to the rice. Served with jalapeño pepper corn bread.

My family unit and I really enjoyed this recipe, I followed nigh of the recipe exactly as posted, except for the veggies I used what I had on hand. Information technology came out and then good will definitely make again. Thank yous!

This recipe was fantastic and so easy. The only thing I inverse was the cooking oil. I used sesame oil instead of olive oil.

I used broccoli and peppers instead of stir fry mix and instead of white rice, I used Knor's Pasta Sides chicken fried rice. It was an instant family unit favorite! Side note - everything but the rice can also be cooked in a crock pot if you're busy. It'southward nevertheless flavorful and nicely textured. When yous get dwelling, just brand the rice and consume!

This was quick and easy and best of all nosotros all liked it!! I doubled upwardly on the h2o and used a broth base. This ended up making a LOT of sauce and so if you practice that I would stir fry the beef and pour the marinade in at the terminate. It turned out just fine but was not stir fry with all that sauce simmering with the meat. I used saccharide snap peas, it's what nosotros like. Volition for sure brand again. I did not make any changes. Used all ingredients of the recipe. Information technology just doesn't gustation very good. Not horrible, merely I would never serve it to anyone or arrive once more. Husband and I both were very disappointed (our true cat, however, liked the meat). I think possibly office of the trouble is that yous don't utilize fresh veggies. Frozen ones but don't taste the same.

This was a corking recipe!! I tweeked it a footling though. I added beefiness Ramen noodle flavour packs instead of beef bullion. I too added garlic, cherry pepper flakes, red pepper, green pepper strips and even squash. I didnt take any teryiaki sauce so I used worchestshire sauce and a piffling more than sugar. Information technology came out superb!! My family loved it!! I'll be making this again for sure. Give thanks y'all for the recipe!!!

I was lacking some of the ingredients, so I replaced the beef bouillon with craven bouillon, nixed the teriyaki sauce and added a bit of molasses to the sauce. It turned out great and I will make over again! The beefiness was very flavorful, but I'm curious to see how it would gustation if I left information technology in the marinade during the 24-hour interval. Deeelicious :)

Even my picky married man liked it! I did use fresh veggies and as I didn't have bouillon on paw I used office of a beef au jus seasoning packet. I served it over brown rice. I will definitely be making this again!

This was very good. My picky household ate all their vegetables tonight. I added garlic to the sauce. I used gluten free soy sauce. I omitted the teriyaki sauce because I didn't have any. Only this was even so delicious and gluten costless!!

I did change it a bit. I used 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and 4 tablespoons of soy sauce. I wanted information technology a petty sweeter. Turned out great. My hubby went back for seconds. We paired information technology with ramen noodles instead of rice. I think next fourth dimension I will let the meat marinade in it for a few hours before cooking it.

Succulent. I didn't have h2o chestnuts so I didn't add those and I used teriyaki seasoning instead of sauce. I also did not add together the sugar as we don't like it sweet. I too only used the vegetables I had on hand. I will make this again. Thanks for a groovy recipe. :)

This was practiced, non very spicy but flavorful. Instead of frozen veggies, I used a yellow onion, a medium zucchini, a poblanos pepper and a ruby-red pepper - all julienned. I did add together the water chestnuts, too. I doubled the marinade.

1st fourth dimension: I used filet mignon. Then tender! Delicious! 2nd time: I substituted shrimp for the beef. Besides added fresh squash and zucchini. Used chicken broth in place of the h2o and bouillon cube. Cooked shrimp nigh 2 minutes or until pink. Served over fried rice. Awesome!

I used chicken cause I didn't have beef. Used asparagus, mushrooms, colorful peppers, garlic and watercress. Used the ingredients for the savory sauce minus the burgoo cube. It was and then good and not heavy like a meat and spud main dish.

Commencement off, thank you for sharing your recipe. This was delicious and easy, easy, easy to make. I used a frozen broccoli stir fry blend and tossed in some pea pods near the end (wanted to go along them crunchy). Since the blend had water chestnuts I didn't add together actress. I used Thai style rice noodles that I added at the terminate. If you utilise thin rice noodles be certain break them upwards when adding to the pot and then they mix nicely and don't dodder together.

A proficient basic recipe which is easily adaptable to the ingredients at hand. The use of frozen vegetables (a pocketbook labelled soup mix) worked much better than expected. A bit of added garlic and/or ginger would be a proficient addition.

Great recipe! I leave out the h2o chestnuts because my family aren't big fans, and they are often in the stir fry veggies mixes anyhow. I commonly double the veggies and sometimes double the sauce as well, so there's actress sauce to mix into the rice likewise. We too sometimes do chicken instead of beefiness, and if I apply beef I don't ever actually marinate the nest - sometimes I simply brown the meat and add the sauce at the end and information technology still tastes wonderful. We make this all the fourth dimension - it's the only stir fry recipe we use!

Overall a good recipe! Prissy and quick and piece of cake to put together. I didn't want to wash a bunch of pans and so I cooked the encounter in the juice showtime along w the canned chestnuts. A good recipe. We didn't have low sodium soy sauce so I used regular. It was way too salty. I would definitely try information technology again with the low sodium soy sauce the recipe called for.

Fabricated this because I needed to make a stir fry Monday, and quick! I omitted the h2o chestnuts because my your Celiac blood brother won't eat them. He normally hates stir fry but he actually liked this one! Only thing I'd similar to mention is that I needed way more than h2o than what the recipe called for because the cornstarch in the beef marinade became clumpy paste rather than a sauce when I went to melt the beef.

So expert. A hit all around. I did stop upwards with a vegetable mix that had water chestnuts, I added the can anyway considering we love them. Also added a small-scale can of bamboo shoots. I used beef chuck cutting into tiny peices, considering that'south what I had. We served over white rice. It made a ton of sauce, which I reserved some on the side, and cooked in a carve up pan. We approve of extra sauce! If your going to make this, apply a pan twice the size that you lot think you'll need! It's so skilful; you'll be glad you did! It also keeps well, and might fifty-fifty be improve the next day. Will make frequently in the hereafter. A keeper.

The sauce thickened more than I expected - probably because I used fresh veggies - onion, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots & mushrooms. Then missing the liquid of the frozen & the chestnuts, I'll add more water next time. Only the flavor was great and it went together quickly.

Then salty information technology was inedible Surprised I didn't come across this mentioned. Also the flavor was lacking, needed some spice or something. I also thickened the sauce as it was really thin.
